Double Bass Speed and Control Exercise

This is the bass drum exercise that I wrote for myself to use as a warm up, I find it really helps me think with my feet.

Start really slow, and once you have got it down, play at a comfortable speed as often as you can manage, playing this ten times at a speed you are comfortable with, will do more for your speed and control than playing it twice super fast…

As with most double bass exercises this exercise also works well as a snare warm up...
